Bilateral knee surgery last Monday (October 3rd) walked up and down a flight of hospital stairs unassisted with no pain on Friday October 7th. HSS is an amazing professional and caring institution and Dr. Peter Sculco is kind, personable and professional. I am thrilled at the results! The surgical and post op period was smooth and totally organized.

Dr. Sculco took the time and interest to find out how to fix my knee problems. After two physicians, two replacements and a revision surgery I was still in discomfort. After the knee replacement surgery, now I just feel wonderful and I am grateful for the decision to have bilateral knee replacement surgery at HSS... As I am writing this, I have not taken pain medications since I was released from a local acute rehab facility... The best result is no more pain in the knees. After running 10 marathons and doing physical work for 40 years, my right hip was completely devoid of cartilage and was severely damaged.
